Where are we in our QEP planning process?
The first step in developing Mason’s QEP was to identify a topic and approach for writing the plan through a process that solicited input and feedback from across the university community.
Executing this first step was the responsibility of the QEP Topic Selection Committee, which began meeting in April 2008 and continued to meet through May 2009. With the university community’s helpful feedback, the Committee determined that there was significant energy and enthusiasm throughout the institution for the topic of infusing scholarly and creative activities into curricular and co-curricular activities.
The next step in this process is to fully develop the ideas for our plan and to write Mason’s QEP. This is the task of the QEP Planning Committee, which began meeting in August 2009.
We are excited about the opportunities this process affords our community and look forward to hearing from you. Please feel free to contact a member of the QEP Planning Committee and to send us your thoughts at qep@gmu.edu.
